Considering the current situation of COVID-19 in China, wire China 2022, which was originally scheduled from 26th to 29th September 2022 at Shanghai New International Expo Center, will now be held at Nanjing International Expo Center on 08th to 11th November 2022. This decision was made after consulting with various industry experts, with Nanjing being the ideal platform to hold wire China 2022.​​​​​​​

According to the implementation plan in Nanjing of Made-in-China 2025, adopt plans of upgrading intelligent manufacturing equipment and construction of intelligent plants demonstration, and introduce digitalized, networking and intelligent equipment, so as to push the industry forward to be high-end; the collaboration of the industry chain in the high-end equipment manufacturing field, including petrochemical, automobile and rail transit, CNC and aviation, is driven to jointly build an influential industrial cluster in the Yangtze River Delta. 

On the other hand, with the installation of new energy such as offshore wind power and photovoltaics accelerated, the demand for cables has further increased. The approved capacity of offshore wind power in Jiangsu Province ranks first in the country. During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, Jiangsu will schedule a total of 28 offshore wind power project sites with installed capacity of 9.09GW. The planned area will cover 1,444 square kilometers, with an average annual installed capacity of 1.8GW. The rapid growth of offshore wind power has driven the development of the submarine cable industry of Jiangsu Province.
